future in flash

Posted by kazoodac - September 12th, 2008

Well I dunno, I don't often post things on my account, but I figured why the heck not.

Anyone reading this has probably seen my crap stick animation and decently good Phoenix Wrong tribute.
This message is to anyone who was wondering (or even was remotely interested) as to whether I would be continuing to make flash movies.

As of right now, here's where things stand:

I'm in college, and the workload has gotten pretty intense. Between my classes, projects, activities and workout routine, I don't have a large amount of free time. Of course I come to Newgrounds to enjoy it's constant flow of quality entertainment, but free time for that and free time for animating are two ENTIRELY different things.

Here's the good news though. My intended major has focus on visual communications, which may include flash at some point. the possibility of learning more about flash and having access to the newest version, coupled with the artistic training that I am receiving should make for a good background if I want to start a new flash project.

My mind is always open, I am always searching for motivation, and when I am struck with an idea, I will pursue it. If it is worthy of flash, I will give it a try.

I'm hoping I can produce something good, if and when I return to flash. Anything I do at this point would not be posted to Newgrounds if it has not received lots of attention, dedication, effort, and critique. I made the mistake of submitting a days work of flash onto newgrounds as my first, and you see how that did! Thanks for reading, and I hope all is well with all of you!

Peace.

Hope you get back to animating soon, but remember that college is more important.
