not bad
it's not bad, and is certainly on it's way. it needs to be longer though, and please add a preloader so it does not loop.
i dont know how to make a preloader..i'll make another flash with preloaders and everything..gah
amazing.
This movie is one one the most profound and beautiful works I have seen on this site. Combination of excellent flash talent with an incredible story makes this truly a piece of art. The story is incredible, with not only a sad but beautiful story, but also a testament to our country and how it is changing, how we as a culture function and evolve. The portrayal of the composer channeling his sadness into music and making it his life's work tells the story of many who have endured hardship, and the forshadowing involved with the old man who first heard the young composer, followed by the composer himself being in that position with the young guitarist, speaks to the fact that although many things change in our world, some things will always be the same.
You have truly made something great with this. great work!
LOLOL
hahahah this is such a funny series.
I loved the professor layton game, so I enjoyed this twice as much.
felt bad for the girl though, I do forget her name, but whatever. lol.
The art style is interesting, the voices are much better than the last episode, and I like how you've overlapped them to simulate a real argument.
However, I would recommend that instead of using a fire GIF, you animate your own flames instead. seeing the pixelated image hurts the overall quality of the movie, since everything else is done by hand.
Good point about the fire. I was just experimenting to see what it'd be like introducing .gif into an animation I'm planning. But it was probably not the best symbol to use in this shortie.
awesome job!
Calvin and Hobbes is one of my absolute FAVORITE comics! You've portrayed them very very well!
I wonder...do you think you could contact Bill Watterson (I think that's the creator) to try to get permission to animate the cartoons here on newgrounds? Since it's non-profit, I doubt there'd be a problem.
I'm pleasantly surprised
I'll admit it...when I clicked the link...I expected this to be a half-assed knock off of super mario bros. z.
BOY WAS I WRONG!
You've got a great idea going here, with a similiar, and yet original storyline. It almost does feel like a continuation of the SMBZ saga.
You should be very proud. With a rival like AE around, sprite animators are being judged pretty harshly, but you've done a great job! I can't wait for the next one!
awesome!
amazing work, great concept!
you know...it wouldn't surprise me if you went on to make a story out of this!
seriously, if done right, this could develop into an awesome series!
keep at it!
You've got a really cool concept going here! If you keep at it, improve your flash skills, and continue to develop the plot, I could see this as developing into an awesome series. Many of the greatest series on Newgrounds started like this, and as you watch, the quality continues to grow. If you work hard and don't give up, your idea will do the same! Nice work!
nice!
great job!
I haven't seen something like this in a long time. Keep it up!
